Heavy acceleration no, but that's not really how you wheelie. The slow stuff is mostly "snapped" up with clutch.

Easiest way is to snap throttle shut then open again, even on 33bhp.

In first? Tried it in second before but nothing seems to happen.

Never got round to trying it in first!

Yup, first. About 6k.

Remember the bit that needs most force is the initial lift.

I had one of those 'how hard can it be' moments on the way home from work and this is the result.

I think I might need a little bit more training.

And then what?
Keep powering through and close the throttle to drop back down or drop the clutch or is it best using the back brake?

What I do during these idiot moments - Keep a steady throttle and control the front height with the rear brake.

I had another go at this today away from the public road. I just need to lift the front up a little more and then learn to power through it. Towards the end I started to get the knack but I also felt guilty for my SV.

I still don't think I'll be needing one of the 12 o'clock bars just yet.

I find those bars useless to be honest. Your heel always gets stuck in them, and I HATE unsnarling my hair from the chain.
