Yeah the first time it happened I went to the fella at the shop. I remember reinstalling it again and it working, but because it has just been so long since it happened last I just didn't remember I could fix it like that

On the plus side, the original printer (that a housemate gave me in first year ) now in the box that I bought this one in, so I could sell it on Ebay? Would have all the stuff with it, but seeing as I didn't pay anything for that one I'd be winning Hmmm maybe, this would require effort on my part...

Yeah talking of ink, I've used a refill cartridge before and it used it for a bit then suddenly decided it didn't like it. I thought I''d try them out just because there about £15 cheaper than the Lexmark ones but don't now. When I bought the new printer it came with a Lexmark cartridge which was really what swayed me I must admit!!

Home refills aren't really liked by Lexmarks TBH.

There used to be a Cartridge World shop in Llandudno, used to forever be in there. Cost something like £6 to refill my £35 colour cartridge, and never had any issues. Once I remember it being £10 because he wanted to change the heads on the cartridge too to make sure it didn't gunk up.

Shame that shop closed really.

But yea, put the effort in, and you could sell the old printer you have. Might not be worth much though lol.
