Step 1: Go to Halfords
Step 2: Purchase Michelin Double Barrel Foot-pump
Step 3: Relax, safe in the knowledge that in 40 weeks time it'll have paid for itself (40 x 50p = £20 purchase price) and you can pump up your tyres any time you like, whilst getting some exercise.

Hard times this credit crunch eh?

Shell garages are all still free where I am. And as someone else has said I mostly find the free ones are usually broken.
When I fill up with Morrisons you get 3 minutes free air time anyways or 10p a minute.

ok ok!!!! in that case ill stick with the pump ive got and get a gauge, was only asking as there be no point buying another pump if it hasn't!

I have 12v halfords compressor, then a 240v-12vdc convetor, seem to workk okay, I had one anyway from when I had car so made sense.
