Tomorrow- Christmas shopping and decorating and possibly a quick blast
Sunday- More decorating and possibly a quick blast and a Chinese in the evening

Saturday, Bristol to see friends and play silly dodahs...

Sunday, selling more mountain bikes to the Christmas shoppers.

Monday, feet up and maybe even a trip to the shops,

I work every other day, which is not fair really.

Mind you, Next Saturday is Carol's Gig... Cue lots of music, dancing, drugs and choking on my own vomit in a Hendrix style way. I lurve rock 'n' roll.

Just got home from a 12 hour night shift, go to bed, get up do another 12 hour night shift, get home go to bed and get up and do another 12 hour night shift. Glad I only get nights one week in 6 these days

Gid, pics please if you land the beast, i used to do a lot of pike fishing when i was younger, 27lb was my best ever...the pics are at my mums ill get them next time i vist and try and put them up.

Ive not been pike fishing for years as i now concentrate on Carp, best so far was a 21lb from the top lake at longleat, its a lot harder than the other 2 lakes there but the rewards are better, 2 days one night to catch that 21lb, was well worth it.

Gid your in the south west/wales area arnt you? if so i think id quite like a trip for some pike if u wouldnt mind a tag along at some point?, still got the gear somewhere, mainly those spinner things as find it a bit more involved than fishing on the bottom (but still throw one out with dead bait on as back up!)

UPDATE

Got out for a bit of a blast (well tootle really!) about lunch time. From Alfreton to Matlock then Baslow, Stoney Middleton, Tideswell Moor, Buxton, Bakewell, Matlock again and then back home. Bl**dy cold but at least no rain, snow or fog. Still riding like a wuss around wet bends but hey it's only my second time out since my test. Cleaned the bike and now it's decorating time! Oh joy!

i've not done it for years, would be good to get all the gear out again, not even sure if i've still got most of it
