I work in a vets and am surprised they are doing it then-we don't do scheduled ops over the xmas period.

Anyway, he won't notice, and like others said it makes him less likely to stray, or fight, or spray. There's not a huge change like a dog can have, it's well worth doing, and he's the perfect age.

Tis my choice to get him done as I don't want him to start scenting the house and would like him to be more affectionate. Would like him to be able to stick up for himself aqgainst the other cats in the neighbourhood so I hope they don't calm him down too much. At the mo, he's quite ferocious, doesn't help that I don't feel pain like most people so actively encourage him to fight rough with me!

Anywho, whist I want it done I think the vet is a little incensitive to do it on Christmas eve!!
