Ok here it is.

YTX12-BS £32.50 inc vat delivered.
YTZ14-BS £48.00 inc vat delivered.

This is for genuine Varta product, exactly the same as the Yuasa, (made in same factory)

To order you will need to call Debbie Birch on 0800 310 2100, we are going to be super busy tomorrow, so you may want to call on Tuesday.

Please only talk to Debbie, she will be the only one who can give this deal.

The YTZ series has a significant higher cold cramping amps, and therefore will have a much better chance in the cold weather.

I will post more detailed info and comparisons in a day or so.

Brilliant.
Many thanks, I've been reading all the battery threads over the weekend trying to decide which battery to get. Even went to Halfrauds this afternoon ( Only cause I fancied a ride and couldn't get the bike started!)
Glad I decided not to chance it with any of theirs!
I shall be phoning Debbie first thing!

I was getting problems with my heated grips not working in the mornings when the bike was cold; turned out, the battery was on its last legs (poor efficiency) even though it was charging etc etc. I have a new Yuasa one in there now, and I've noticed:

The bike starts easier, no problems with the heated grips.

An optimate charge did do something for my old battery, but not much.

[edit] i paied twice that amount for my yuasa!!! grr
