The Farmers Arms Kelsall (xmas meal place) seems to be fairly handy for most folks. I realise this makes it a trek for some of our far flung members, but that is a consequence of covering a large geographic area. I reckon most of us can get there in an hour or less, so not too bad.

I know mate, thats why the use of smilies & in particular, my last paragraph.

As I said above, Google reckons this new place is closer to me than Stormy, and I've made it to Stormy on numerous occasions.

Further, you should know me well enough to know that distance isn't an issue.

Kelsall cool for me. Good, quick roads there from Macc and a fair few variations to the route too

's OK from Shrewsbury too.

Last year I couldn't do much cos I was working in Liverpool so much. This year has reduced so I shoudl be able to do more. And the weather was so dismal that it didn't really help.

Thursday is a good day you know... and things like this on a thursday brings in the weekend earlier....

Well we picked Wednesday as it was mid-week to brighten things up. We changed the Stormy Petrel meet to a Thursday(to coincide with the bike night), but still not many turned up.

If folks prefer another day, this is the place to say so - nothing is cast in stone.
