Ok, time to resurrect this.
For Pete and myself, anything before July is pretty much impossible now, we have so much stuff already planned. So do we look to go in late July/ August, or hold off and look at September? If anyone has dates in those months they know they can't do, that would be a help.

July/August sounds ok for me, there's always a chance we'd book some late holiday, but usually in September when the little morsels are back at school

Nothing booked that far ahead yet, but I'm easily capable of daytripping the whole area.

AR09 is the 31 July to 2nd August
But I'd be up for any other week end in August after that!

Ok, I've found a bunkhouse I think might be nice. It's small enough to book for exclusive use, looks like it has plenty of parking space, and seems remote enough for bike security not to be a problem.
However................it's in a very small village which only has one pub. The pub does food, but we have no idea how busy it would get on a Saturday night, and I can't imagine there would be very much entertainment! ![]() Two options then really if we went with this place. Eat at the pub in the village or travel a bit further afield to eat, maybe grabbing a few tinnies on the way back for those who would want a beer. This is the bunkhouse https://www.yha.org.uk/find-accommod...acilities.aspx Thoughts?
