Not the best climate at the moment for it, but it sounds like you seriously need to look for another job. It sounds like you work for a bunch of t*ssers. We all spend so much time at work that we need to be relatively happy there. In my experience if you're unhappy at work it will start having a negative effect on your home life.
Catch 22 isn't it really.

I have to get out but in this climate how do I do it and guarantee another job - I just can't. My days off sick or for any other reason that i couldn't go in (not including holiday) over the past year were...January last year for 2 days with the sh1ts and then when I was on crutches cos of busting my ankle I was advised to have a week off to let my ankle heal and not ride. Within 2 days I was back in...takes the ****, thing is I have one over on the guy who has been calling me and he doesn't know it yet...When he was ill day before xmas eve...he was spotted shopping in the town centre. Says it all.

No harm in looking for another job. Don't let the b*st*rds grind you into the ground, it's just not worth it.

In a similar vein as this thread...I'm fooked off! Managed to drive my car for over 2 years and kept the alloys in tact with not one scraping incident.

This morning I managed to get from Basingstoke to Southampton without any major moments despite the local roads near my house being effectively ice!
When I got to southampton, I was going round a 90degree corner to get into a carpark (East Street) and was going only approximately 5mph and the car turned but didn't fully make the turn so I just slid sideways into a kerb...was such a slow crash but I could do nothing to stop it!

Anyways, now I've got a nice scrape on my alloy! Happy days 'n all!
