What puts me off is the Speedo problems with having a different front end

There are still some real bargains to be had on Ebay. I've just picked up a complete GSXR 600K4 front end (Forks, yokes, brakes, wheel complete with discs and tyre, and front mudguard) for £300, and I only wanted the wheel! I've also been playing around with various "cheap" rear shocks and am currently using a GSXR 600 K5 one which is turning out OK. It's slightly shorter than the 750 SRAD one I had immediately before it.
And don't worry about the speedo fix. It is so well documented on here it's dead easy, just one tip though, if you are buying aftermarket discs tray and get ones with eight rivets, not nine like I did! It makes for a more even speedo reading. |

Not wanting to become a test rider or sorting out a conversion on SH parts, I opted for Racetech cartridges (not emulators) and springs for the front end.

Take your forks to K-TECH for a new set of springs & heavier weight oil, then purchase a NITRON shock. If your a bit strapped for cash i hear that HAGON do a very good replacement shock. When you come to sell your bike you can refit the standard rear shock and sell the NITRON on ebay.

I did my upgrade just using the Hyperpro Spring kit front and back.
Cost about £160 and just required a Jambo to get it done - well technically a Jambo and a Rictus.
