shouldn't use torrents either their easily trackable by your isp, just keep uploading to a low
sorry this is rubbish too. The ISP may be able to identify torrent traffic, but it would have little or no idea of what you are up/downloading. Torrents are a legitimate method of file sharing.

And while we're on the subject, desktop or laptop, either of them are equally capable of downloading, being as they are more or less the same thing in a different package.

Unless your torrent data is encrypted, which it should usually be, then they are unable to be aware of file transfers. When files are pretty much named, they can see that.

I use Warez now as it means I don't have to upload and can just leech of other people and make use of my 3mb/s download speed, I use to be a torrent ***** pretty much, my statistics on there are very high.

Yeh thats true, but heat plays a key factor in the functionability and speed of the hardware operating speeds.. I have a laptop with a faster spec than my PC, and my PC runs at lower temps + greater speeds in regards to loading times. PC or laptop, both do the same job

Looks like just a packet filter, which won't stop the ISP tracking your traffic. However, as jamesterror says, they can't know what the content of the traffic is. They may be able to get the name of the torrent, but they would then have to prove that the name matched the content, and they don't store the content, so don't worry. There's other ways to be caught out, but that's why you're only downloading legal files, right?

I use PG2, (just P2P list) but that won't stop you being taken to court after warnings if you are found out, but it's better than nothing unless you want to pay for torrent privacy.
