Sure Dave, you're welcome to come and see some really nice bikes here. Malta's weather is very kind to bikes so you'll see some old classics kept in pristine condition along the new stuff. A nice Autumn or Spring Sunday brings the most of them to the place as hot or wet weather deters the highly polished examples from stepping outside the garages.

When in Sicily, please keep an eye (or a big f***-off lock) on the bike at all times. A couple of friends of mine got their bikes stolen in 5 mins when they went to get some ice cream from a shop. Their thinking was something along the lines of "we'll only be 5 mins, we won't bother putting the locks on". Famous last words... bikes never showed up again, according to the locals they must have been dragged to the nearest garage and will be sold as parts...

Does this pic look familiar to the one in the beginning?
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2133/...90db2f0947.jpg Go to Sicily but don't marry one from there, they look for their wives to be their mothers...or maybe it was the one I married lol I'm sooo much better now ![]() ![]() Swimming around this little island is quite fun. The water is crystal clear but there are many cold currents, so it can get chilly even in August. Many thieves and con artists, Mafia rules in the background. Amazing land and ancient history, amazing food. Shame about some people. |
