hi mate and welcome
Im a newbie aswell !
Passed my test in sept 08 and got bike in october and love it !
Ive done a lot of mods and have just fitted some new tyres today as i had no confidence in the standard tyres !
Make sure you be patient an run the bike in propery, twins more than any engine benifit from proper running in !
Ive done 1200 miles now and it just keeps getting faster, oh and the exhaust keeps getting louder and louder, which is a bonus !!

Best wishes

Stephen

Stephen,
Thanks for the welcome, everyone has been very welcoming.
Apart from learner cb500 i dont know any different from my bike as to whats good and whats not. my tyres seem ok to me but in the future when i get more experience that might change.

you say your still learning, well i've got news for you. we're all still learning so your not by yourself.
Without getting too philosophical, life is one long learning curve so i think thats the way my riding will be, hopefully for a long time.
