5 mars bars, melted down in a pot with 500g of butter (if I remember correctly) (and you need to keep stirring.. goes lumpy then smooths out after a while)

mix in rice crispies (cant remember quantity) , spread out into a dish and let it cool/set.

Melt some cooking choc and pour over the top and allow to set in fridge for an hour or two..

Mars bar crispy cake..mmmmm Mrs Guru made some last night

Seemples!

She's my little treasure!

Although I have been sent the cake in a cup recipe, I still have not made it. (Looks at coffee cup, thinks of items in store cupboard, strokes chin...)

ooops...

I don't do the measuring and stuff.. I just get the good jobs of spreading the choc and licking the bowl

It was definetly less than a block.. so not 500g

I'll find out how much butter.

EDIT:
Ok, so.. it was 5 mars bars, 5oz of butter and 5oz of crispies so Im told.

After my last post, I went downstairs and....

Ready to eat!

The cake took about 5 minutes to make the mixture and 3.5 minutes in the microwave (mine is 900W so an extra 30 seconds on the recipe). The cake took longer to eat than make! The photos took longer to load than eating the cake.*

*I only ate half, I am full. That is a two person cake!
