They don't seem to put the 125 and 250 races up either, which is annoying.

We see it happen for 125-250 graduates who go straight to MotoGP, Stoner, Dovi, Melandri, but it's rare for an outsider, they usually ride satellite bikes and then leave the series like Xaus, Tamada, or go straight in to a factory team like Edwards, Vermeulen, Bayliss, Hayden. I don't pretend to have managed not to miss one, but the last I can think of is Hopkins, whose first GP season was on the Red Bull WCM Yamaha.

Just thinking out loud and it doesn't really mean anything . Toseland needs to be on a better bike, but I don't think it's likely to happen for him.
Oh, true. I meant in the improbable chance that he suddenly starts being really competitive all the time. He'd be stuck with Tech3 until his contract ends unless he's got an exit clause.

The BBC coverage is sadly IMHO unbelievably sh*te. Thats why I have sky and Eurosport...

The only thing I watch on the BBC is the MotoGp Race as due to the dumbasses are Dorna, Eurosport cant show the Moto GP race live due to BBC having exclusive rights.

And Dorna's idea was to make the racing more accesable....

I just cant see JT keeping his ride next year. But then I cant see Edwards keeping his either...

BBCs coverage is a joke...full stop. just **** poor.

JT and Edwards will be riding this year for Tech3...next year who knows.

I like Edwards but his mouth rides a better race than he does and it is starting to bore.

Lorenzo is well on top of it and Pedrosa is showing class. Rossi made a big error pushing early and paid for it. But Melandri...hope I didn't slag him off last year coz I would be well wrong.

Dont forget Marco wasnt 250GP champion for nothing. IIRC he also won Moto GP races on the Satelite Honda RC211V as well.

I think it just shows that Casey does something special on that Ducati that nobody else can do or and I think this is important "knows how to do"

Theres obviously a knack or a style to riding it that Casey isnt letting on about and thats why nobody else can ride it like he does.

Yep casey is the playstation generation. As an old fart I take my hat off and welcome in the new and wave goodbye to the old. He's totally focussed and it's a fascinating battle between the old guard and the young gun. Nobody else can ride that bike like he does, why knock somebody who is that committed? But would still like to see the freakin race like I was promised on iPlayer. Seriously peed orf...

Its really is fricken sh*te isnt it. The bint at the BBC who runs the motogp coverage was banging on about how good it would be and how they would show more coverage than before.. erh you havent watched Eurosport coverage then have you love...

Eurosport showed everythign live, all classes all sessions and repeated later on in the evening on the day in case you missed it.

BBC show everything on the red button apart from the main race.. it really is w*nk.

Eurosport are running the GP repeat now on 411 if you have sky... if you dont, you have my sympathies...

Marco's career has been patchy in MotoGP and that is not including his Ducati disaster.

I think he should have done more but maybe he hasn't been given the top ride he deserves.

Stoner is one of those guys who instantly gels with a bike that suits his style perfectly. That is a rare and beautiful thing.

I thought this was Edwards last season, I seem to remember some quote from him last year saying he would be doing everything to help JT but he would be going for it in 2009 as it would he his last year in Moto Gp ? I think it was in MCN.

Does anyone know if they are going to show the race on IPlayer at all. Are the BBC just incredibl slow at uploading it or have they decided not to show it???

Edit: There have been developments from the BBC, question answered.
