Speak up against the government? Welcome to the mental asylum

The mere fact that someone behaves in a way that other people find odd, like talking to themselves, or living alone in a caravan in a field, doesn't mean that they're only fit for Broadmoor. We have a fine tradition of eccentricity here in the UK. I occasionally advise clients on mental health issues - mainly for rellies saying that grandad/grandma needs sectioning for his/her own protection cos s/he's doing daft things. What they really mean is that s/he's giving his/her money to the dogs home and they will get no inheritance. Quite disgraceful really how people jump to conclusions that simply aren't justified, out of personal greed.

...following on from that , it amazes me how many rellies like that find their elderly "loved ones" go mad over the christmas period too....

phases like " but he/she will ruin our christmas if you dont take him/her"

family life in the UK...you gotta love it!
