I've got an FZ1S.......fast, good for 2 up, not expensive to run
You could even have mine for a reasonable price ![]() |

As others have already mentioned, it all depends on what you use it for.
My natural progression would be to get two bikes in addition to the SV... one big, economical and practical bike for long distance touring, and a 750/thou SuperSports bike for a bit of 'weekend release', and then keep the SV as a commuting rat bike :P (Fund and garage space don't allow all that just yet unfortunately...) ![]() |

I went SV650->GSXR6->SV1000S, and I use the bike mainly for commuting and the occasional long distance 2 up. The VFR800 is my choice, but as I couldn't afford a decent one (low miler, one that I'd keep for some time) I bought the thou in the interim.
The GSXR was horrible for pillion, and not really a great commuter, but the thou is the complete opposite. |

Its whatever you think you can handle
I fancy myself a Fazer 1000 or a yamaha R1. Now, they are farrrr faster motorcycles than an SV....when the throttle is wound right open and the revs left to rise. But the throttle works both ways, so the power dosnt worry me. Out of the two, im more likley to own the fazer 1000 ![]() |

1050 Sprint ST. Far better than a VFR800.
