I didnt have a problem with finding a price
choose the type of communication then say you want bike to bike choose configer then choose the parts you want which headsets which radios ect then at the end get a price for your individual needs just be a little patient its not a one piece of kit fits all its an expandable one to suit your needs |

Look at the Autocom website (sadly they still do pdfs but at least they load quicker now), all you need is the Logic but remember you'll also need an 2nd headset & lead. No need to hardwaire unless you want to, but better in the long run if used a lot. You may find a local dealer but I've tended to but direct, delivered next day and on occasions saveda few bob as well
specialone - What lid, headphones normally go under the ear piece lining eg Arai |

Can't reccomend autocom enough. i have an Active Plus Duo which is the 2008 model, one up from their most basic. I use it fore MP3, satnav, phonecalls and talking to the Mrs - and yes, she will only ride with the intercom as she feels safer if she can talk to me (to tell me to slow down mostly). The unit will also handle bike to bike radio if you so wish. they were selling them off a while back for £100 with both headsets, but I don't know if they will be now. If you just want to talk to the GF on the back, any autocom from the last few years will be fine. If you google the names you'll get loads of info from BMW GS forums etc. If you want to expand it to listen to music etc, I'd reccomend one of the 2008 / 2009 range as they are stereo rather than mono. It is important when buying second hand to check all the leads etc are included as spares from autocom are quite pricey, and the cost of buying headsets etc might eliminate any savings from geting second hand kit.

Unfortunately Oxford are good for some stuff and bad for others, so don't assume it's good because of the name. Their textiles and boots are awful, but then that's reflected in the price.

sorry to dig this up from page 3 but i thought youd like to know how i got on.
i bought an oxford bikemike 3 for £57 and it arrived today. so for the first time ever. i took my 15 stone father as a pillion to test it out! it was crystal clear at 30-60-75 and slight wind noise at 85. perfect! little box that all the crap plugs into and hey presto. if theres anyone reading this that needs a cheap intercom. go for the bikemike 3. its awesome |
