the fuel hasn't all leaked out whilst it was on its side?

Also check that the front spark plug lead is intact and connected properly.

I'd offer to come help but

Still not half as bad as you, mine I think has re-joined by itself.

Nah I did it at Cadwell, 4 weeks ago yesterday and got given the Xray by Louth General to take to my local fracture clinic, I should really have taken a better photo but I only thought about it just before I was off to hospital and took a quick snap on my phone. I decided to take the risk of it healing by itself especially as with riding a motorbike you don't want to keep metalwork in there and so would mean two lots of surgery. I was at least helped by being able to work from home which took the stress of being off work for a long period away in case it didn't re-join and I needed surgery anyway. Thankfully mine seems to have rejoined, at least I'm 99% sure it has for a week anyway, don't want to risk anything that could stress it enough to test!

mine managed to snap in two places and moved 3 cm inside my body so they had to cut me up, find it and put a metal plate and 6 screws in to re attach it.

Ow!

I think as soon as it's more than one fracture you have to have surgery really.
