Because that's what they do for very high speeds. They can be buggers also for double charging, ie plead guilty to speeding or we'll do you for dangerous, sometimes they'll try and do you for both which *should* be a big no no.

One of the things people tend to forget also is that you can have done something yet not agree that is was careless/dangerous and fight it on those grounds.

People just see how they cannot argue that they were doing something and fold automatically assuming that because they did do it and got caught that they are guilty, personally I'd fight that it, agree with the speeding, fight DD all the way.

*Seen driving the wrong way along a Dual Carriageway (on the Chevrons to the right).

Yes it is fast, but that doesn't automatically equal Dangerous Driving.

I don't think anything happened as a result of them driving the wrong way on a DC, but i would consider how it came about to be a far more dangerous act than just driving fast while being aware of your surroundings (although the fact that David Mitchell got caught, may mean that he was not aware)
