Yep, and the Flames have won their first four games of the season, the Hitmen are 6-1, the Stampeders (CFL) are leading the Western Conference, and the Grey Cup Final (CFL) is being held in Calgary, so it could be a good winter.

Why do we live in such cold places? Yesterday I left Turkey - it was 35C. No wind, the sea was like a mirror, we had to turn the engine on to 'sail' to Sogut. When I got back to Manchester at 12.30 this morning it was 2C with windchill making it about -5C. I only had on shorts, a T and sandals. And it took ages for the bus to the parking lot to arrive. Brrrrrrrr!!!!

We are the top of the ladder in the animal world.

And to prove it, when some of the animals migrate and follow the sun, we show them how hard we are by staying put...

To the sports bar! One pitcher of Rickard's Red and some nachos, barkeep!

Tonight in miserable Wales, meanwhile, we have the most bike-unfriendly weather (that isn't snow) - that fine, misty rain/spray/drizzle that obscures your visor but DOESN'T BEAD AND RUN OFF. Just rode all the way home and could barely see a thing, cagers with their wipers racing past me all smug.

Saturday - Working for minimum wage like a dog...
Sunday - See Saturday.
Monday - Day off, lay in bed and wish I was else where.

Feeling a little low today, tired, hungry but have a kitten in my bra who seems to love me. Bless...
