How to tell if someone is redirecting your post?

We seem to be receiving very little post lately at work. I was aware that the strike is not until Thursday. I think we are going to start using TNT (not my choice).

It may not be getting directed properly and the poeple living there now are binning your post.

TBH thats what i have started doing been in my new place for 2 months now and still getting post for the old occupants.

so i am now just binning all mail addressed to them.

Hi not sure if you just told ur bank that you were moving, but you need to let royal mail know to as most companies take thier address information from them. This is on thier site under redirection.- The Home Office Identity Fraud Steering Committee recommends that to reduce the risk of identity fraud when you move, use Royal Mail's Redirection Service to direct your mail from your old address to your new one for at least a year. Hope this helps!!

Royal Mail in London have been striking one day a week for the past few months so anything going via their sorting offices has been delayed. I have had at least two letters not arrive that were posted in London weeks ago. But Scottoiler posted me a part from Scotland yesterday afternoon and it reached Essex today. So if most of your post comes via London this could be your problem.

PM me your address and I will post you something from my office in NW8 after the strike and see if it reaches you.

Ahh - I didn't know that!

I actually recevied 2 letters yesterday, both sent in September.

No sign of the first class letters I posted on Tuesday...mebbe I'll get them by Christmas....

Well the DVD that I bought on Tuesday arrived today - I thought that there was a postal strike - if so -who delivered it.

No, but you might want to ease up on the bong. You're getting very paranoid.

The strike was spread over two days. The first day, deliveries were made but no-one was sorting; the second, no deliveries but sorting staff were back at work.

There's another national strike planned for next week, I believe, but post in London has been messed-up for weeks.
