As do I, but for other people, be warned, its a MOT failure, unless you know someone or have a good test station.

You could just stick a packer on the lock stop

racetech ones, they just clamp around the bars so really easy to fit, got them off ebay, but Acerbis and UFO do pretty much the same thing, between about £15-20 or so.
Cheers Mark.

If it wouldn't pass an MOT, then they shouldn't be fitted. If you knowingly make a modification that would render your vehicle a failure for MOT test, surely you are doing something wrong. |

Bah they make no difference apart from when moving the bike, how often do you use full lock on the road while riding?
It wasn't bah I have a dodgy tester, its a honest word of warning to people who go to a MOT who don't know this. |

Cheers for the advice rictus. Will have a look into those, and as for the MOT issue, they sound simple enough just to slip off for an MOT when/if necessary.

How can they be an MOT failure if enduro bikes come with them fitted as standard?
I'm guessing its down to the individual tester/bike combination. |

It's not the fact it has hand guards, its the fact the steering is not able to gain full lock.
If they are standard, there shouldn't be a problem. |

It's just with faired clocks they are a problem. They'd be fine on a naked
