get a honda VFR800i or VFR750

Errrrrm I like the GSX650f's, although the exhaust is quite big. Keep in mind that build quality of the GSX and the SV isnt great! But ACF50 or regular hosing down keeps the bike in good condition. SV is more sporty, but the GSX would probably make a comfier and more practiclal everyday machine; if I had one, I'd change the exhaust, instal symtec grip heaters, add a taller screen and fit hard panniers and topbox.

Lozzo is correct about the versy's btw, they do appear to be excellent bikes. If you are considering the GSX, then also consider the versys

Welcome!

I wont recommend that you get a GSXR simply because this is an SV650 forum and that would just be impolite!

Hello, after alot of looking I settled on a v-twin, just need to learn how to ride it proper now .

The bike is an aprilia shiver 750, I love it.

If theres any ride outs in the manchesterish area, id love to tag along

Chris.

Yea, I'd like to hear about the shiver too. Keep us all updates on things like servicing, any problems, quality of finish and stuff. Historically, italian motor vehicles have a reputation for being "characterfull"

that is to say, falling apart every 5 minutes. Aprilia seem differant though...
