BB junior bought a 748S and has had no trouble with it,including a trip to the other end of France-----BUT-------
Its a Ducati and should look beautiful.Theres no other rationale for owning one,and the Multistrada just doesnt.IMO.

I do know it isn`t a looker , I`m after opinions on servicing , day to day ownership , running costs , is it worth it in the end ?
The thread isn`t titled "Do you think this is beautiful" . I can`t sit on small sportsbikes as I am 6ft 2 tall and my hips start to hurt after a while . To continue biking I will have to consider a roomier ride and I like V-Twin engines and don`t want a V-Strom , or any of that Cruiser faffery . To be honest I want a KTM Superduke or Supermoto but until funds are better I would settle for a Multistrada for the time being . |

They are usually inline 4`s and I like the character of a V-twin , I even had a look at the new Triumph Tiger but it is in Superduke Territory when it comes to money .
And I won`t shout at ya if a decent comment is put forward , come forth with something less helpful and it`ll get bum rubbed ![]() |

Ahhhh v-twin fair enuff.
The 2 bikes i've owned are the k9 pointy n a er6f (which is inline 4 i believe). The pointy feels miles better than the er6 ever did :P. Still what about test riding some sprints etc theres plenty of orgers with em! |

Don't forget 1200 Multi is out soon. Bound to be loads of Multistrada owners upgrading. Might be a large influx of older Multis flooding the market soon!
