I have to admit, that I do occasionally use vi.

I still miss edt on my vax boxes. and even had a port on Solaris. loved the keypad functionality from my old vt220 to quickly issue editing commands.

But that is getting off track. Before even looking at this job. What does it pay and where is it.

Wasnt Solaris something in one of the Bond films with Scaramanger? So basicaly, its a Bond Villina. Yep im up for that...where do i sign?

Would you be shocked that I have a edt manual somewhere as we use to run it on our Dynix ptx.

shouldn't that be Vi:=vi or Vi==vi( i'm not that up on unix syntax)



I was actualy quite good at it when i was studying, just don't have the time to get to know it all again. suppose it's another string to my bow though if i did bother. paid to train an all that.

we all realise that anyone reading this stuff that aint got a clue will be totaly lost in here!!
