i had this problem and couldnt be arsed messing so just put the normal indys on (they make great crash bungs)

lol just the reason i replacing mine... been crash bunged too many times

(4 times in the last year - and only 1 of those 4 was my stupidty!) so i was thinking along the lines if they smaller they wouldnt be broken but the issues with resistors and relays blah blah i think i should just revert back to normal ones..

It is irritating when things don't work just so, but once it is sorted you wont have to deal with it again, until you change the lamps due to them getting broken... again!

I moved the indicators to a different part of the snowplough and have never broken them in crashes.

YC, is this LED only? Or would it work for a mixed bag? I have led indicators on the front but standard rears. Thought of getting some standard fit BA9S led bulbs for the rear as I need to replace my rear indicators anyway, as they're corroded to buggery, and at about £10 per pair replacement for basic ones, it'd be much cheaper than getting led indicators.

12V 10W max... says it right there. Normal indicator bulbs are 21W IIRC

If you want more power use the LED flasher to trigger a normal relay, might work, might need 5W of ballast between the relay output and ground though.
