WSB Philip Island Australia this sunday :)

Haslam and Ginters look well placed for some decent points. Thankfully I picked them for the MCN fantasy league thingy.

I was quite pleased as max points so far, just the small matter of the races now to enable a plummet down the leaderboard

everyone looks so fast; im expecting more from toseland, and cal crutchlow was impressive during qualifying!

1am for the first race, 4:30 am for race 2

I want my bloody bike back so I can go out and play WSBK (albeit very slowly and carefully but with all the same sorts of ducati-esque sounds....i in no way endorse using the road as a race track)

That works if you scroll from the top down, but not if your browser takes you straight to the most recent post and from there you scroll up.

I'm a little annoyed, mainly because I was absent minded enough to look at this thread in the first place, mind

I think spoiler tags should be required, as a reminder to all who enter, in any thread where we can talk about results, otherwise don't.

in any case, it is the most recent thread about the first round, so may well contain spoilers. I put the "spoliers" thing in bold so that might attract attention first







and just to wind everyone up who dosnt record the races and watch them at 7am, I'll post up the results of those in font size 7 in bold and underline and italic before the repeats

I know, normally a thread like this would have a spoiler tag. You attempted, kindly, to protect your post..........but you failed

Maybe you could put the big bold spoiler words below your next post aswell, next time, so innocent readers with brains in autopilot that scroll up from the bottom of the page, will not accidentally circumvent the protection afforded by the large bold words above it

Be a bit easier to just not look in the thread until you've watched it...

No kidding, I could post the result in a thread title and tell you you shouldn't be looking at the racing section . But, spoiler tags are the widely accepted and required addition to the title of any thread which may give something away, sporting or otherwise.

You don't want to go to a film thread with a title: "New Film out tomorrow" and then be told that Bruce Willis is actually a ghost all along.

It's easy to post things inconspicuously too > see? <. (Highlight it to read it.)

Not a big deal. Of course. It's just simple to do it right, so why not, even if it's just to save one hapless chump who forgot what he was looking at till it was too late.

For all the praise the bike received when it was launched, both as a road bike and as a race bike, it seems that now the hype has died down the R1 is not actually as geat a bike as the media would have had us once beleive.

It would appear that the reason for the chatter was because of a light-weight seat unit developed for the 2010 bike. The problem was sorted once they had flown the 2009 seat unit out to Oz from Italy.

Still, it looks like Cal has the edge on James at the moment but I think race day will tell.

I'm also a bit disappointed that Shakey didn't qualify well but having seen the pictures of his highside on friday, I can understand that he may be a bit sore. Having said that though, he has some good company on the fourth row with him
