Probably too late now, but when I moved mine in a 7.5 tonne truck, and there were no floor points and I needed the space for furniture, I put the front wheel into the top left corner, the back wheel tucked into the left hand side of the van, steering lock on, bike in gear, chock behind back wheel, bike on sidestand, then tensioned a rope between the frame and the sidewall of the van, essentially strapping the bike in tensioned against the sidestand.
I got the idea of doing it that way, because that's how my bike was tied down last time I was on a rough ferry crossing. |
