Every time I hit 5000rpm on my Nelli and the induction roar comes through. Makes me giggle like a little schoolgirl. Every time!

When I don't have to go to work.

Going for a walk along the beach or in the woods with Mrs B and the dog. Even after too many years of marriage we can still talk for hours - neither of us listens to the other.

+1. I wasn't sure about going to Zakynthos until I was lying on an inflatable bed, drifting around the pool with a can of Mythos.

when the kids are all in bed safe and sound sleeping and i can let the dogs sneak into the living room and they lie at my feet-heaven.

And a dinner of Mince and potatoes when i'm fed up of the forgien crap

simple pleasures are cutting my toenails with a nice pair of snap on sidecutters and seeing how far the clippings go, bliss.

tensing my muscles in the mirror and relising that the gyms paying off

Waking up after a lie in and realising that I don't have to do anything or be anywhere by any time that day. Then walking downstairs and having a nice bacon butty whilst watching a day of motorsport. All whilst still just wearing boxers of course!

Doesn't happen often.

BBQ's in the garden, looking at the food growing in the plot, seeing the garlic plants poking out of the snow on the allotment in February.

My new Tiger 1050. THE bike I always wanted. It's even better than I imagined it, every time I start it, I get a real shiver down my spine. Riding it is a rush of noise and acceleration. Biss.

Many, many others,, then again, I'm a simple bloke.
