Thanks guys.

Good news all round for me.

Had the meeting today, and have been told that my role has been mapped over - so basically I still have a job, however actual role/responsibilities might change a bit.

It is the same out come for the rest of my team, others however are not so lucky.

I have also been told that there will be a vacancy advertised at a higher grade that 'I might be interested in' - getting a promotion at the moment would be a right result!

That's fab news Matt and being told about that vacancy is a nod that they want you to apply, so go for it!

I'm chuffed to bits for you and Anita, I bet you had a worrysome night last night, so go out, get a good bottle or two of wine and have a good evening xxx

Redundancies suck, but they can also provide new opportunities. Over the years I've had two promotions following on from big redundancies.
