Well that was interesting! Agreed Hassan was an idiot but he was there to provoke a reaction. You could see in Dimbleby's face that he thought he was like naughty child who he was tolerating. Melanie Philps was greeted by a few boos when she first came out so I think she was just playing up to the image. Dimbleby said off air at one point when someone in the audience said we were being rude to her, that there was a lot pf pantomime about the show. I think Heseltine's answer about who should be the next leader of the labour party was the best answer of the night "I don't care!". I'm not a huge fan of his but he had some wise words about the coalition. And Simon Hughes - the voice of intelligent reason IMO!

I've always like Tarzan and his "I don't care" comment was quality. The show did seem it was a bit of attack on the Lib Dems. Hassan is just the sort of guy the a certain brainless group of people just love the follow (keep the red flag flying).

But I think it would be fair to say my issues with Labour may have closer ties to Britain than one might think.
