Dyno would also show that an SV makes nowhere near enough power to actually do that speed ![]() Most accurate speedo is timed mile.

My GPS always says I'm going slower than my speedo, but my speedo always matches those road safety LED sign things that tell you your current speed with a

GPS is more accurate but with longer response time and less reliable.

Thanks
![]() can't be bothered to quote the poster (on iPhone) but whoeve said they hadn't broken the speed limit in a year - no shame in that. Just want to reiterate, this is not a contest, I'm just generally curious. Night! |

You've all got much bigger Cojones than I have. Or you're all mental.
I've been past 130 a couple of times whilst on the German Autobahn once I looked down and saw 143 but these were all for a couple of seconds before quickly slowing to a much more sensible speed. Going more than 120 on either my SV or my Blade is terrifying and on a public road is just dangerous. The wind at those sorts of speeds is enough to push you off the back and the sound of the wind, even with ear plugs in is deafening. Not to mention what would happen if you got caught by the rozzers. Not preaching or anything, good luck to you if that's what you want to do.
