I'll go take a pic of my rear later...when it locked up it dragged for a good 40 yards and I was picking balls of rubber off it when I got home. There is also a "tear" in in. Only 2ml deep thankfully and befre anyone says it, yes, the tyre is perfectly safe to ride on. It's nowhere near the indicators so this tear will be long gone before I need to change.

Anyway Mike, I think this may be what Chris is referring to....but I might be wrong as my tyres are fully inflated. On the run in Wales, they bobbled a bit on both edges due to the heat and the fact that they were being subjected to a lot of pressure...lots of big bends, leant over, high speed, very hot day etc.

I would think limit for tyres would be taking them to the maximum grip they are capable of in perfect conditions????

I'll decide when it is time to change. I think it will be storms though.

Yeah, the Vipers with the steep profile on a bike like this make for lots of fun.

Angled ripples, the rubber just sort of rolls off the edge of the tyre.

Could also feel it a bit, like a really slow slide, like riding through treacle lol
