It does have to be said that when you see the sea of riders streaming in to turn one in a Moto2 field, and then the sad handful of MotoGP bikes in the main event, you realise how badly things need to change for the "elite class".

It's rare that there isn't something worth watching through the whole MotoGP race, though, even if it isn't necessarily at the very front. RDP is by far the most exciting rider to watch just lately, I was disappointed that he didn't make it to the podium, but was very glad that Spies did. Where was Edwards? He'll be shown up big time by Jorge over the next couple of months if he doesn't up his game.

The last 2 laps of the 125s were the highlight for me, though. Maximum attack, total aggression, but fair, edge of the seat stuff and a spectacular save at the end.

Edwards is no where this season.

Ask yourself...if you could watch and enjoy a race...125 or Moto2 or MotoGP...which would you go for...I betcha MotoGP is gonna be short of takers...

You must remember that people will queue in the rain to see Rossi...To see Stoner?...maybe not.

Ahh, I would have stayed on for the Superstocks if I'd realised who was riding. Too cheap to buy a programme me!

Luckily, I watched the racing from Maggots/Beckitts on race day. Very luckily, I was surrounded by racing fans and not Rossi 'sheep'.
Absolutely had a ball. After the racing had finished there was a Pink Flloyd tribute band playing in the E zone/Riders for Health bit.

Did you hear Colin on the E zone stage, late Saturday afternnoon (along with Kallio, Melandri, Nicky, Simoncelli, Ben, Jorge, Smith, Webb and Redding, etc, etc?
Got to be looking for a new job after that, especially as Ben got on the podium on the Sunday......enjoyed it though!
