Marmite - Love it or hate it?

I lived in Fiji for 3 years and you can only get vegemite there, it's okay but I much prefer Marmite

Marmite is just the scraped out skiddies of marketing people who figured out a way to sell it.
Vegimite is the scraped out skiddies of people who ate marmite (IE worse).

Who the heck eats that stuff, wrong, it's so so WRONG.

Hot buttered toast with a thin layer of marmite and a thick layer of wholenut peanut butter on top. Delicious!

use it in cooking - try a spoonful in bolognase sauce, but dont eat the stuff on its own. Have not tried it in years though so it could have joined the ranks of foods I used to hate but now enjoy, along with olives and beetroot.

I think I've posted this before, but try it mixed with butter and brushed onto a nice piece of steak about a minute before you take the steak out of the pan.
