Re: BT023's anyone?
I wasn't overly impressed with the 021s- felt that they were not as good as 020s as far as the ride was concerned. They last a while though.
They take ages to warm up- lots of wheelspins at the lights on colder days. Some think this is fun- for me it just felt amateur!
That said, I've had Metzler Roadtechs, BT020's and BT021s. The 021 is the first tyre I've managed to eradicate a chicken strip on (rear left side)- partly this is due to greater experience and confidence too. I think the Metzlers felt much better than the BTs from the off- though it's a little hard to tell over 3 years when any new tyre is a vast improvement on a squared one.
Got Avon Storm Ultra 2's on now- even through the scrub in they were confidence inspiring. Much nicer feel and profile than the Bridgestones. They roll into corners really niceley (as did the Metzlers).
