You mean at 1/3 throttle lol

Should be fine without colder plugs, take them out after some use and check for detonation damage. I doubt there will be any.

decided that i want to get the yoshi treatment, would it be best to get a dyno run first and then take the bike to get it tuned and give them the dyno run with the A/F ratio's to get a better tune

and do they usually just guess the increases ?

Any re-map worth having will run the bike up as-is first to see how that particular engine/mods combination behaves on the known map, then Taylor the new map to optimise the engines performance at WOT and efficiency at lower throttle settings for drive/rideability.

I think that just getting the restriction lifted will make you wet yourself the first few times you ride it, like I nearly did the first time I was told to "open it up" on the riding school's GS500 (I'm used to a CG 125)

na i have ridden more powerful bikes and for the first two months of having the sv i had no restriction () and im not 100% on how its running with the mods that have been done with or without the restriction in place

the tuning that i can aford is the yoshibox, not a full dyno run (£300)

Sort the terminology for fooks sake.

A full dyno run will probably cost you a tenner to see how it's running. That's what a good tuner does first, then tells you "well it's a bit lean here, you'll probable get a bit more in the midrange" or "this is miles out, you'll get loads".

Up to you to talk to tuners who've got which remapping tool. Either tool can do cheap map. I think it's the TEKA tool which can do the more detailed adjustments but check that with someone who knows.

A proper full custom map using the Pro Bike software we charge £160 for it. Its 3 hours to do properly. The Pro bike has more range than the Yoshi and Teka boxes.
We tend to use the Yoshi box only for small adjustments.

surrey is a bit far but how much would you charge for the Yoshi tune ? (although £160 seems a good price)
