Tonight - put the bike batteries on trickle charge. Couple of beers.
Tomorrow - Morning, cooked breakfast. Afternoon, fly to Fuerteventura for a fortnight! Paid for with Thomas Cook vouchers I won in a draw. Get in!
Sunday - complaining about the heat.

Friday - end of season drink after work with the Middlesex cricket team, then off to Soho with the Massive.

Saturday - Make burgers, then slob on the sofa and shout at the TV while I watch Essex v Somerset in the CB40 semi final and hope Essex win so they will be at Lord's next weekend.

Sunday - Ride out round Essex followed by a BBQ (with my burgers) at Mr Vox's place. Take up residence in the twins' playhouse as it looks very cool.

LPH can you tell whoever's decision it was to get rid of a domestic 50 over competition to sort themselves out and reinstate it ASAP!!! madness of a decision to my mind. And the fact Hampshire were the holders makes it equally galling

Well I rode from le havre to les cabannes today. 600ish miles on the SV, standard seat. No aches here...the SV can be used as a tourer!

I'm off down to the pub tonight, meeting an old school friend, she lives in N.I now but is over for the weekend. Unforunately, another lass will be there who seems to dislike me for an unknown reason, used to talk to me, she went to uni and now she doesn't. There will only be the three of us but I am going to make the effort and go, even though I would rather pull my own teeth out and suck vinegar.....
