well done. a lot of hard effort and noggin scratching has gone into that conversion. but i have noticed one thing that may be of concern, the front brake lines look too tight.

That's what I noticed but what will I notice if they are too tight?

When you open the throttle or go over a dip the line will get wrenched out of the fitting and you immediately loose all brakes

They could be too tight or they could be OK... just make sure that full extension of the forks is not pulling them tight.

Nice. Well I'll get it up in the air tomorrow and see how much slack there is. If none I'll get a set made up

The lines have enough slack but just tidy it up im getting a longer set made up.

The brakes were tested and got 150 on the rear 190 on the front which ain't bad from a bike that weights 120 on the front and 135 with rider on the rear

Mot passed just afew little bits to sort like higher clip ons as the tl ones are too low then she's finished

So had afew bits highlighted to me after the mot and got to work making some lock stops as the last owner had ground them right down and i didn't like the idea of my rad being the new one.

Once again front end off and forks out which sucked as I had only finished the build but needs must and it ment I could check everything again.

I centre punched the remaining the stops then drilled from 3mm up to 6.5mm then fitted a nut and bolt to each one. I will fit bigger lots when I get some but these will
Do for the mean time.

Heated grips are coming back off until I find a set of clip ons with a higher rise as the tl
Ones just seem too low for my liking and first give me enough clearance with everything
In place.

More to come maybe next week when I've got more money

FWIW What I did originally was fit a (IIRC) M8 cap screw bolt with a number of washers on it and a lock nut to keep it tight into the yoke. If I was to do the same again I'd do similar but turn up a nicer spacer rather than the washers.

However I bought a set of lockstops off the a guy in the states, they're made of nylon and fit over the radiator mounting points and the fork legs hit against them.

I don't think that would work on pointy, I don't think they have a rad bolt on far side (unless you whip that off and tap a hole)

Ah, I presumed them to be the same. Carry on...
