OK- so I'm getting some moisture under the visor insert (it's coming in at the bottom right hand side of the insert).

Any suggestions on the pin adjustment to prevent this? (your experience may save days of trial and error and effectively being blind in one eye!!!)

Much cheers

D

OK- think I've found out why this is happening.

There's a little bobble on the beading on the insert. Will take it back and see if I can get another tonight...

Turned out my trouble was with the visor/insert not fitting together snugly.

Tippetts kindly replaced it. Vision was much clearer today!

Nice.

I always wanted the Schuberth, but they just don't fit my head. I need a medium, but then the cheeks and skull cap are too loose. samll is to tight on my head. I've just ordered an arai custom fit job (Quantum 2 in white) from the NEC show. Had it fitted by the guys who do the Arai service at the TT, and they are shipping it from their shop in Ireland for me for free. I thought Arai fit was spot on for me but the guy could see just by looking at my head that I needed thicker skull cap and cheek pads, plus he fitted some extra foam around my temple. No one else will custom fit lids like that for standard retail price - looks like I'm stuck with Arai - not that that's a bad thing.

I tried a few and ended up with the Schuberth S1 Pro but in small rather than medium.

Now just need for it to give a bit so that is 100% comfortable with the intercom fitted
