Whatever you may think of her, she's just raised the profile of motorcycling with a whole new younger age range demographic.

Her team may be as crap as you like, but bet there's a whole load of people watching bike racing from now on who never would have before she got involved.

If it brings new investment to the sport and more publicity then it's a good thing, perhaps she can be famous now for potentially funding a winning team and giving newcomers an opportunity.

Bloody great!

One more bike on the grid! Nice paint scheme and I'd like to know more about the rider and the team, the race series etc.

Amazing amound of sexism in this thread, especially from the ladies.

How would this thread have gone if it were Jeremy Burgess who launched the team? Or Mike Tyson? or Kofe Anan?

She's willing to "support" the sport (admittedly for her own gains, but then isn't that what every sponsor wants)?

And if it works, we may have a whole list of "celebrities" willing to stump up some coin. A lot of clubs in the UK have had a very hard time this year, so any cash coming in is welcome.

That will lead to greater publicity for bike racing targeting the spotty teenagers and young femail "wanna-be's". The FIA couldn't afford that kind of advertising by a long way!

Sending an Email off to L'Oreal now for sponsorhip!

... Because I'm Worth It!
