Thats what makes me think that its all for the TV tbh, the stig goes to 5th gear (tiff's show) tiff comes to work for jezzer one of his former workers and we assume still mates (especially if they're working together again).
I'd put money on it that stig is still palley with the TG3.

They must have all known that he couldnt ride around in a helmet with zero identity for all of time, the theory of it is fantastic but human nature is to progress and achieve and you cant get the credit for it if no one knows its you = no achievment.

to elaborate, all the credit and praise that the TG3 gave stiggy for his driving "stig really did get the best out of that car" "stig really knows how to drive" coupled with all the celeb feedback of how great he was. That all goes on record as been stig, not ben. In some ways I'd imagine he resented the stig for all the praise he got, especially whilst never been able to shout from the roof tops "I DROVE THE BUGATTI VERON" or words to that effect

He was stiggy for longer than any other stig and I'll be suprised if they didnt know it would happen sooner or later. If he'd REALLY pi55ed them off then he'd have gone the same way as stig1 and disappeared into the TV archives, his moving to 5thg IMO suggests they're not really that hurt by it.
After all, if they'd come out and all said yeah its brilliant we're pleased he's moved on he's a top bloke. Think of all the material and publicity they'd be missing out on by milking it as they have.

On 31st October I spent a lot of time riding on my own from Whitby in the dark with a convoy of three prestigous cars.......I'd laugh my socks off if it were the three Amigos! Bit of an odd thing to have those cars driving together on a freezing Haloween night. They played with me for miles and vice versa.
I'd laugh even more if the Blonde VRaptor mysteriously appeared on Top Gear lol.

I doubt it too

Ta, found it. Wasn't coming up in a search, is it this one?

"Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May compare the Mercedes SLS, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the Ferrari 458 Italia in an epic road trip up America's east coast."

Loved the programme, esp the bit where Clarkson has to out do them on the drive by and pulls out a Demarco instead of a pistol

I've heard Jezza mention what Tiff reckons of various motors on a previous episode so they must still talk, and like I said earlier half of em still write for TG magazine, think Tiff may even as well (Tom Ford was the fella whos name I couldn't remember).
Collins has been round the block, he used to be on skys motoring programme Vroom Vroom, along with the original stig Perry McCarthy. This made me think that Collins was the stig for a long time before he came out.
