It'll have to wait until the cricket season ends and they free up the restaurant here of tables and chairs but I will get it organised for mid or late October if people are still keen.

Right all, the cricket season ends on Saturday so I'll have time to look at organising the first aid course I suggested ages ago.

After Chris Robinson's accident on Saturday it reminded me that I said I would get this arranged and how important it is.

Unlike a normal first aid in the workplace course that they run for our staff, my plan was to ask Neil the trainer to concentrate on the sort of things you might find at a road accident. Spinal injuries, broken bones, blood loss, shock and to teach us how to do CPR. But then not worry too much about the other stuff they nomally cover like poisoning, stroke, allergies.

It means it won't be an officially recognised course, but I don't think a certificate for the wall is why most of you want to do this.

I'll speak to Neil the trainer this week. But if you are still interested please post up here. It would be an evening at Lord's in St John's Wood, parking on site for bike or car and the tube is only 5 mins away.

Sounds good to me, depending on the date.
