haha - I though Lidl was more pikey than Aldi, so perhaps I should move to a LESS pikey town?

We have an Iceland too, but I'm not allowed in there

S'funny the attitude to Aldi & Lidl being for pikey's. My sister is far too posh to shop there.

But most of their food is good, especially their fruit and veg, its better quality than my Morrisons.

Both get really good ratings in shopping survey's.

Oh we'll I don't care, means its less busy than Tesco's at a weekend

But even I wouldn't shop at Iceland

Even though I don't go in the one close to me, I think it's a cracking shop.

They sell good quality stuff for good prices, pay their staff very well and make a big profit, something the big four could learn from.

Why's that, just in case you're seen going in there and what will the neighbours say

Nope, wife does shopping
She goes in sometimes, fruit etc from there, when I'm not cutting down on sweet stuff, they sell the best biscuits

Lidl sell some very good continental foods that I buy, they aren't so bad on the known brand UK foodstuffs either. Some of the special offer stuff in the centre aisles is a bit suspect, but most of it is very good VFM.

I don't use Aldi much because they're the other side of town and haven't been open here for very long, but I did buy one of their compressors and some basic air tools a while ago, which are well up to the occasional workshop use I put them to.
