we used to play two types of Bulldog.

Bring Down & tag.

Tag was as simple as being tagged and you were out, bring down was you had to be brought down and down for at least 3 seconds to be out..

again, how no one was killed ill never know, but that just goes to show what a farce this red tape was.

It was also banned pretty quickly.
