The helicopters probably are abandoned, they are less than 20km from Chernobyl. Probably those used to help put the fire out.

oh thats the Tucson one in the middle of nowhere in deepest USA desert?......I'd forgotten what it was called, Its gigantic! You can zoom right in, its really wierd! Was just looking for that to post
