Anyone wanting to join in on the ride, i'm aiming to have us away for 10 at the latest so please get down to the campsite before then. There's a butty bar serving breakfast from 7 so come down and stuff your faces with us if you like

Grr this is looking less and less likely for me, my niece and nephew have made a surprise visit to the UK .
What are the details of the ride/s?

Oh just seen the above post,is it 10 am set off from barn farm?(Saturday ?)
Are you having a lunch stop anywhere?

We're leaving the campsite at 10am (Jen will likely set off before us to do some shopping first ) and heading for the petrol station 3.5 miles away so everyone who didn't fuel up on Friday evening can fill up.

Lunch will be in Castleton, about 100 twisty miles away.

The fuel stop will be done just before lunch (it's 4 miles prior). No idea what time we'll arrive in Castleton though... Dave (sv4me) should be able to give you a rough idea if you need one.

Rough guess would be 3 hours roughly to make it round to Castleton, so 1ish. All depends on time it takes to do 2 fuel stops, pace which will be dictated by the weather and whether Chris fancies having another nose bleed or not

Dave if you like PM me your number and i'll txt you when we get into Castleton. We'll be parking up by the Castleton Centre where the big car park is

Providing I do make it,if its crappy whether I'm tempted to nip home afterwards and grab my car and sleeping bag,sick of pitching tents in the rain! Unless there's a ride Sunday?

No worries. Hadn't really planned anything as the weather is supposed to be shocking on sunday plus people might be feeling a bit ropey from sat night

If by some miracle its nice on sunday, I could take any survivors on a little 75 mile spin on some nice back roads and end up in Ilam (Dovedale) and go see the stepping stones*

*Anyone still hungover at this point WILL be getting pushed in
