Wen't out on the bike for an initial "round the block" only to get back and find they had made a mistake with the plate (they used an N instead of a V) - Rang my cousin (a sussex cop) and asked if I could mask off the left hand side of the 'N' to make a 'V' - "I wouldn't" he said, "as any sign of a masked letter and you'll get pulled, and er IF the mistaken reg happens to be the same as a stolen vehicle or even used in an armed robbery you could end up looking down a loaded barrel or two" - Rang the garage & the insurance but have to wait ... Groan....
