If alcohol was suspected and she couldn't blow, she would get arrested.

In the custody office she would be put on the intox machine an asked to provide two samples. if she couldn't blow and had a valid reason, a blood or urine sample would be taken.

I know what would happen and fully support the process.

Last nights programme didn't help in that the drunk woman was being a fool about it and thus was under pressure just to blow. In Lynne's case (Organising Pneumonia) she could probably exhale for about 2 seconds before a coughing fit. It would simply be her word at the time to say she suffered from OP to a copper who would hear the word Pneumonia and assume she would be in a hospital bed linked up to an oxygen supply and therefore she is yet another taking the proverbial.

Fine a blood/urine would clear it and anyway she very rarely drives so the chances of being pulled in the first place are negligible. However if she was. My concern would be that she was not treated by the plod as a p1ss taker.

Thinking about it. When she does drive, she is so bad the chances of being pulled on suspicion of drink/driving must be huge.
